After performing at Jakarta Internacioanl Jazz Festival, Luciano will join some talents in Tokyo to celebrate the art of Brazilian Jazz. - Nov 28 through Dec 2nd - It's a dream come true to visit Japan!!!

Luciano has been invited to perform at the Jakarta Internacional Jazz Festival. The Festival will take place on 23-25 of November 2007
http://www.jakjazz.com/ Luciano will join Zarro and his group for this Festival. Zarro is known as one the best Brazilian Jazz artists in Indonesia. Both Luciano & Zarro will perform some of their orignal music as well as some of the most well known melodies of Brazilian Jazz. This will be a major event in Luciano's carrier.

This promisses to be not only the cd release concert on July 11th, we will also have a lot of surprises, an incredible program, and many special guests... .... this concert will be a treat!!!

The new Orquestra De Samba CD entitled "Brazilian Standards Vol. 1" will be out the end of this month. It will be first available for purchase at our concert with the Appolo Chourus of Chicago on 4/22/07.
It contains 11 tracks with beautifull performances of arrangements written specifically for this unique ensemble, including a Batucada. In my 20 plus years studying and performing this music I have never seen any ensemble bring so much style and diversity into it. It is an honor for me to be part of this emsemble.
